Explorer Kids Camp — Years 3 to 5

  • Friday 7 July Begins
  • Sunday 9 July Ends

Explorer Kids Camp is coming up for Years 3-5 from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 July!

Explorer Camp is our camp for kids that runs over a weekend, including Friday & Saturday night, held at the Youthworks Port Hacking Campsite. It’s a great time for children in Year 3 to Year 5 to hang out with friends, have heaps of fun enjoying camp activities with their leaders and grow as we follow Jesus and learn from God’s Word together.

This year at Explorer Camp our topic is ‘Resurrection’. We’ll hear talks from the Bible from our Children & Families Minister, Lauren Dewhurst, and have discussion groups that help us grow in our love and understanding of Jesus!

Explorer Camp is fully supervised by members of our Children, Youth & Families Ministry Team, as well as Kids Leaders who have have completed Safe Ministry Training within the past three years as required by the Anglican Diocesan Safe Ministry Ordinance and have current NSW Working With Children Checks verified by Christ Church St Ives. Explorer Camp has a child to leader ratio of at least 1:5, with each block of kids’ cabins assigned two adult leaders of the same gender for support during the day and supervision overnight. Explorer Camp also has Camp Parents who come along for the weekend; a set of parents whose children are involved in our ministry at Christ Church join us for the weekend and help us out as ‘Camp Mum’ and ‘Camp Dad’.
