|Anglicare works to ensure families throughout the Sydney area do not go without at Christmas. If you would like to contribute, you can donate non-perishable food items or new toys, books, clothing etc.
All donations go straight to the Anglicare Warehouse where they are sorted and packed, ready to be distributed. The food hampers and gift parcels are then distributed through Anglicare’s Emergency Relief and Family Support programs which assist thousands in our community who would otherwise go without.
Please drop Toys & Tucker contributions at the Church Office or in the Church Foyer anytime before Sunday 24 November.
|The Archbishop of Sydney’s Anglican Aid comprises three funds — Overseas Development, Overseas Mission, and Community Care. Overseas Development raises awareness and resources to empower communities in developing countries. Overseas Mission provides for Christians in Africa, Asia and the Pacific involved in ministry and evangelism. Community Care assists churches all over Sydney to provide support for those facing social and economic hardship, mental health problems or requiring refugee settlement assistance.
You could make a financial contribution to one of Anglicare’s many projects this Christmas or purchase their Christmas Cards to contribute toward the assistance of refugees with medical needs, food, clothing, social care and counselling.
|Operation Christmas Child is an initiative of Samaritan’s Purse which provides the opportunity for the good news and great joy of Christmas to reach a child in need in a gift-filled shoebox. Operation Christmas Child is often the first step in reaching out to kids, families and communities with help, hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Boxes and brochures are available for collection in the Mezzanine Area and should be returned to the Church Office or the Mezzanine Area by Sunday 3 November.
