Different Brains, One Body: Neurodivergence and the Church
ADHD, autism, sensory differences, dyslexia and more — what does it mean to be neurodivergent? How can we, as a church, become better at seeing, understanding and supporting one another?
Join us for a conversation with our guest speaker, Kate Morris, exploring the challenges, joys and everyday realities of neurodivergence. We’ll look at what the Bible has to say, hear from people with lived experience, and explore practical ways we can make our churches more welcoming and supportive for neurodivergent people and their families.
Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself, part of a neurodivergent family, serve in ministries with children or young people, or simply want to understand more, come along and join the conversation.
Everyone is welcome.
Our Speaker: Kate is married with three children, two of whom are neurodivergent. She is a writer, podcaster and educator. She studied education then biblical studies, trained in ministry and served as a missionary with CMS in France, completed a fellowship at ADM, and is now doing postgrad Autism Studies. Kate hosts a podcast, writes on Substack for Christian families with neurodivergent members and runs neurodivergence training for churches.
