Magnification Director

We are currently taking Expressions of Interest for a Magnification Director for 2026. To indicate your interest, please write to Nigel Fortescue our Senior Minister detailing your experience leading music, teams and ministry at church and answering these three questions:

  1. What is worship?

  2. What is the role of music in a church service?

  3. How should we think about the affections when we gather for church?

Ministry Trainees

We are currently taking Expressions of Interest for Ministry Traineeships for 2026 & 2027.

  2. What has led you to express your interest in a traineeship?

  3. What has God been teaching you from his word in the last 12 months?

Technical Assistant – Short-Term Role

Christ Church St Ives is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Technical Assistant for a short-term position. You’ll work closely with our experienced Ministry Support Administrator to help transition our church management system to a new, nimbler platform that better serves our Ministry team and growing congregation.

Position details:

  • Key responsibility: Assist with the migration from our current church management system to a new solution by February 2026

  • Duration: 30 hours total (7.5 hours per day)

  • Dates: Ideally, Wednesdays – 7, 14, 21, and 28 January 2026 (Fridays are also a possibility)

  • Support: Join our friendly administration team and receive clear guidance

Ideal candidate should be:

  • Proficient with web applications

  • Quick to learn new tools

  • Proactive in problem solving

  • Familiarity with Elvanto and/or ChurchSuite (a plus, but not required)

  • Interested in a short-term role (ideal for a school leaver or university student seeking work experience)
