Walking Worthily: Ephesians 1–3
In Christ we are so spiritually blessed: dearly loved and chosen, saved by grace, adopted into God's family, and strengthened by his power. God calls us to walk worthily - to live in a way that shows we are his forgiven people, who are becoming more like him.
This year we’re hosting our own in-house women’s conference called Wholehearted Women. We’ll get to spend time together as women of Christ Church, looking at Ephesians 1–3!
We’ll hear talks and interviews from women across our church, spend time singing together led by a band, and have the opportunity to meet, chat, and learn from women from different congregations. We’ll also share some yummy food together.
Come early from 12.45pm to enjoy a barista-made hot drink or cup of tea before the day begins.
Date: Saturday 30 May
Time: 1.30–5.30pm
Registration:

Speakers
Caroline Litchfield
Caroline has been one of the Senior Leadership Team at Christ Church for the past 8 years. Quite a number of years before that she became a Christian here in the youth group, and eventually did a Ministry Apprenticeship here before leaving to study at Moore Theological College, and then 10 years’ of ministry in Adelaide. Caroline loves a beach walk, and a good cup of coffee or herbal tea. She can often be found trying out new cafes – accompanied either by friends or a book – and she is currently trying to find the best plants for her balcony that she might actually be able to keep alive. In Ephesians, Caroline is looking forward to reflecting on how we can live (or “walk” through) daily life in a way that’s worthy of God’s immense grace to us in Christ.
Helen Lovell
Helen is part of the Mornings congregation and first walked through the doors of Christ Church St Ives for a Year 9 Christian Studies assignment and has been around ever since. She’s a stay-at-home mum to two girls (2 years and 9 months) and a former primary school teacher who now specialises in the education of much smaller people. She runs on approximately 2 coffees, 6 half-finished meals, and very little uninterrupted sleep. About Ephesians, Helen is most looking forward to the reminder that all of creation is moving towards the incredible reality of being unified under Christ and thinking about what that means for our lives now as women of God.
Joelle Fuller
Joelle is part of the Nights congregation. She grew up on the Central Coast and moved to Christ Church at the start of 2025. She would say she has always known Jesus as her Lord and Saviour, though Years 7 and 13 were especially significant in choosing to keep following him. During the week, she studies the Bible on Tuesdays and works at church, helping communicate the things happening in our church clearly and in a way that’s visually engaging. Her current weeknight hobbies are going to the gym and creating embroidered felt Christmas tree ornaments. She’s particularly looking forward to exploring the rich treasures of God’s word in Ephesians, and dwelling on his immense power and deep love for us in Christ.
