Rebekah is serving in a local Bible College, teaching, discipling students, and supporting faculty development.
Highly aware of their place as a minority within a diverse society, the college raises up godly, biblically faithful, and culturally engaged Christians to lead and serve in their churches and communities. After learning the local language, Rebekah is supporting and enriching this ministry especially in the area of systematic Christian thought in the Reformed tradition.
In her location, clear, faithful, and biblical teaching of Jesus as God’s one true light for the world is seldom heard. In areas of great spiritual and physical need, God’s people here often look inward rather than out to where God is working around them. Rebekah’s role is to equip local leaders, who will serve the church and bring transformation to this community. She does this at the Bible college which is located in a key urban educational centre, through teaching at graduate and post-graduate levels.

She is involved with undergraduate and postgraduate students in both the classroom and less formal discipleship contexts.
She is developing learning and teaching materials to provide a solid grounding in faithful, biblical, God glorifying Christian theology.
She is equipping locals to deeply engage with their context from a Reformed perspective.
She is supporting local faculty in their efforts of research and teaching.
Rebekah is also an active member of the local community and church.
All this in prayerful dependence on our gracious Father, the reigning Son, and the living Spirit.
