Kids and Youth Leaders Weekend Away

Kids and Youth Leaders Weekend Away

Our Kids and Youth Leaders Weekend Away is coming up! Our Weekend Away is for all our kids and youth leaders with the purpose of building rich relationships, developing ministry skills, serving one another,  prayerfully creating plans, edifying each other in the Word, and enjoying time together. Think “relational discipleship” but for leaders.

The training weekend is on the 17-19 April at Rathane, Youthworks Campsite, located in the Royal National Park.

This year, Mike Snowdon, the author of “A New Freedom” and CMS missionary from 2012-2022, will be speaking on apologetics/ethics. His two talks will provide a framework for approaching any topic ethical issue in a comprehensive and biblically faithful way, explaining why Jesus and his Word help youth and kids live in true freedom. If you’d like a copy of his book before camp, it can be found here.

In addition, there will be many relevant seminars/talks, including:

  • Kids Small Groups with Tash McConnell

  • Youth Mobilisation with Martin Garcia (Word of Life)

  • Effective Growth Groups with Isabella Bywaters

  • AI Talks Suck (+Other Wisdom) with Jesse Baker

  • Navigating Conflict with Sarah Abraham

  • Sustaining Joy in Ministry (Sermon) with Jesse

  • Plus more . . .
